Kwusen co-produced documentary film airing at DOXA

DƏNE YI'INJETL - The Scattering of Man airs May 7 & 9 at the DOXA Documentary Film Festival in Vancouver

Kwusen is excited that DƏNE YI'INJETL - The Scattering of Man is airing this weekend at the DOXA Film Festival. The film tells the Tsay Keh Dene’s story of the flooding of their territory from BC Hydro’s construction of the W.A.C. Bennett Dam in 1968.

Kwusen co-produced the film and had a leading role in the early days of its production in collaboration with Tsay Keh Dene member Luke Gleeson. It was a privilege for Kwusen to take on this project in 2015, complete the Elder interviews and shoot much of the footage used in the final cut. The final film is a remarkable story and stunningly beautiful.

Towagh Behr led a Kwusen team of two camera operators and shot his own aerial footage over two weeks of shooting in the Tsay Keh village as well as on surrounding mountains and rivers in 2015.
